Bradyn Debysingh

Boy

Bradyn Debysingh is a rising tenor from Cottage Grove, Oregon and is honored to be making his first appearance with South Bend Lyric Opera. Last spring, he debuted at Carnegie Hall as an award-winning finalist in the Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition and performed in Germany with the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart under the baton of Hans-Christoph Rademann. He has most recently been invited to France for a masterclass on the music of G. F. Händel with famed baroque tenor Paul Agnew of Les Arts Florissants. Bradyn will debut as Oronte in Händel’s Alcina with Northwestern Opera this spring, and has also performed with Classic Lyric Arts, Red Mountain Theatre Company, Cottage Theatre, and the John G. Shedd Institute. Bradyn currently studies voice with famed pedagog W. Stephen Smith at Northwestern University in Chicago, and holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre and B.A. in Classics from Samford University. Beyond his performance career, Bradyn is a published poet, Latinist, tap dancer, and tea-enthusiast. Soli Deo Gloria.
