Adina Cocargeanu was born in 1985, in Constanta, Romania. She started studying piano at the age of 7 at the Music School in her home town and continued at the George Enescu Music Highschool in Bucharest. In 2008 she graduated the National Music Academy in Bucharest, Piano Department. She attended masterclasses with Arkadi Sevidov in Moskow, Russia, Gerlinde Otto in Weimar, Germany and Constantin Sandu in Porto, Portugal.

She was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Constanta, Romania by the Minister of Culture for her professional activity. She won numerous prizes at national and international piano competitions and she performed in recitals and concerts in Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, Spain and U.S.A.

 Her repertoire as a soloist contains music starting from the Baroque  up to Contemporary era.

Adina Cocargeanu works as a repetiteur at the National Opera House in Bucharest from 2007 until present and her operatic repertoire includes Dido and Aeneas by H. Purcell,The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi fan Tutte, Don Giovanni by W.A.Mozart, La Boheme by G.Puccini, The Telephone by G.C.Menotti, La voix Humaine by F. Poulenc and various operettas.

Adina also plays the organ and harpsichord.
