George Zielke

A long-time resident of the Michiana region, George has remained active in the Arts throughout Western Michigan and Northern Indiana. In addition to his experiences in musical theater, he has performed as an ensemble member of the South Bend Chamber Singers and as an ensemble member and soloist with Musical Arts Indiana/Vesper Chorale, where he also served on the Board as Board Chair.


Operatic experience includes the Disciple James the Lesser in Jerome Hines's religious opera "I Am the Way" produced by the Michana Council for the Arts, and productions of "Faust", "The Student Prince", and "Der Fliegende Hollander (The Flying Dutchman)" with Opera Grand Rapids. George made his debut with South Bend Lyric Opera as Commissioner in La Traviata.


George attended Grand Valley State University, studying with Dale Schriemer and receiving a degree in Music Performance.
