Emily Sullivan recently graduated with her Masters of Music from Indiana University South Bend, where she studied voice with Anne Fuchs. At IUSB, Emily has performed the role of Mother in Menotti's Amahl & the Night Visitors, and Countess in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro. For nine years, she has also been a member of Musical Arts Indiana's Vesper Chorale, with whom she performed as a soprano soloist for Brahms Requiem and Handel's Messiah. Other operatic roles include Belinda in Dido & Aeneas with Opera Notre Dame, Pernille in Captain Lovelock, and Collette in Le devin du village, both with Bethel University's Operatic Irregulars. Emily is also passionate about passing down her love for classical music and opera to the next generation. She maintains a private voice studio in the area, spent four years teaching toddler through elementary school music at Cornerstone Christian Montessori School, and now serves on their school board. In addition, Emily has trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance, and has taught students aged 3-18 in dance over the last decade. She and her husband, John-David, live in Granger, IN.
