South Bend Lyric Opera is bringing you Verdi’s famously dark tale of power and sacrifice about a cursed father’s efforts to protect his beloved daughter from the faithless but charming man whom she loves.  Set in the roaring twenties and touching on modern issues of privilege and influence, this fast-paced opera rings as true today as it did when it premiered more than 160 years ago. Rigoletto features vivid characters singing some of Verdi’s most captivating melodies, including the Duke’s “La donna è mobile”.

Enjoy iconic music from the Broadway and opera stages as well as highlights from the silver screen. Musical Arts Indiana's LangLab debut will feature music from Les Miserables, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, Godspell, Lord of the Rings, and The Polar Express and some of operas most beloved choruses by Puccini, Bizet, Mascagni, and Verdi. South Bend Lyric Opera solo artists join Vesper Chorale and Children's Choir of Michiana for this fun and casual concert.
